Motorists using the Southern Bypass and other key roads in Nairobi will face disruptions this Sunday as the city hosts the Grand Nairobi Race cycling event. Nairobi police traffic boss Bossmack Kungu said the Southern Bypass, parts of Ngong Road at the Lenana Interchange, Uhuru Gardens and the Carnivore stretch will be closed from midnight to 1 p.m. The jubilee live free race 2026, themed Live Free race, will bring together competitive cyclists, teams, para-cyclists, families and children.
