A section of senators is proposing the devolution of management of some national game parks and reserves to county governments. Led by Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang’, the senators say the move would enable counties to benefit more from tourism revenue. They argue that game parks and reserves are critical resources that can generate additional income for counties and support local development.
