Senators yesterday wrapped up the Senate Mashinani Programme in Kilifi County. Held at the Kilifi County Assembly, the programme combined plenary proceedings, committee hearings, public engagements and visits to various projects and institutions. Kilifi became the fifth county to host Senate sittings outside Nairobi, after Uasin Gishu in 2018, Kitui in 2019, Turkana in 2023 and Busia in 2025.
