Oburu questioned why Uhuru had waited nearly four years to make the remarks. He said ODM had already chosen to move on after spending significant resources challenging the election results. Oburu also criticized Uhuru for handing over power to President William Ruto despite allegedly being aware of electoral malpractice during the 2022 polls.
