Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen has warned National Police Reservists against misusing firearms, saying they face severe disciplinary and legal action if they violate the law. Speaking in Meru County during the passing-out ceremony of 705 reservists, Murkomen said their firearms are meant to protect Kenyans across communities and not to fuel conflict. He urged the reservists to exercise the highest level of discipline and accountability.
