KUPPET’s Vihiga branch has called on teachers to boycott all Kenya National Examinations Council KNEC duties until their grievances are addressed. The union is demanding timely payment of teachers’ dues, proper contracts for those engaged in examination invigilation and marking, and improved remuneration. The branch says teachers have previously endured untold suffering and will not take up KNEC contracts until their demands are addressed.
