Kiambu MCAs are pushing for amendments to laws governing the sale of liquor, seeking to give residents greater powers to regulate liquor outlets in residential areas. The MCAs also want the public to have a formal mechanism to lodge complaints and seek the revocation of licenses for establishments that violate regulations or pose a threat to public safety.
