Beyond the light banter, Nameless's Quickfire interview with Mpasho's Kalondu had its emotional moments too, as the singer opened up about a difficult year.

A Rare Moment Of Vulnerability

Asked when he last cried, Nameless got candid about losing his father last year.

"I struggle with crying, but ummh... I cried last year when I lost my dad," he said.

It was a rare, unguarded moment from an artist known for keeping much of his private life away from the cameras, even as he and his family have occasionally opened up about health scares and setbacks over the years.

From Kamonski To Monski

On a lighter note, Nameless shared that he goes by the nickname Monski, with those closest to him from childhood calling him Kamonski. The name has stuck well into adulthood; his wife, singer Wahu, has referred to him publicly as "Monski" in anniversary posts marking their years together.

Standing at 6'2", Nameless also revealed he has three tattoos and keeps an early routine, typically waking up at 4am.

Wahu Tops His Call And Text List

When it comes to who he calls and texts the most, one name came up — his wife, Wahu, whom he met in 1997 and married in 2005 at a colourful wedding on the shores of Lake Naivasha.

The singer also named a wide circle of close friends both within and outside the entertainment industry, including Lenny , Big Pin and Bien from the industry, and friends like Deu outside of it.

Manchester United Over Arsenal

A self-confessed Manchester United fan, Nameless was quick to name Arsenal as the team he least supports, keeping the football banter going till the end of the interview.
