Sports and Youth Affairs CS Salim Mvurya says the government is putting measures in place to prevent duplication among youth empowerment funds, credit schemes and employment programmes. CS Mvurya says multi-agency coordination and joint programmes will ensure better oversight. He says initiatives including NYOTA and the Youth Enterprise Development Fund are anchored under the Ministry to prevent overlapping mandates.
