Mordecai Mwini, popularly known as Dex from H_art the Band, has shared details about his education journey, favourite school subjects, first job and the salary he earned before his music career took off.
The musician gave fans a glimpse into his life before fame, revealing his high school grade, where he further developed his musical skills, and what he earned from his first job.
Dex, who studied at Kabaa High School, revealed that he scored a B- in his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.
The musician also shared insights into the subjects he enjoyed most in school. English and Kiswahili were among his favourite subjects, while Chemistry was the one subject he liked the least.

Instead, he took a different route into the music industry, joining Sauti Academy, a music development programme that helped him sharpen his skills and grow his career.
His journey after high school also saw him venture into teaching music, which became his first job.
Dex revealed that he earned KSh35,000 per month from the job.
The musician did not, however, disclose how much money he currently keeps in his M-Pesa account.
When asked about his M-Pesa balance, Dex chose to keep that information private, showing that there are some financial details he would rather keep away from the public.
