Senator Aaron CheruiyotHis comments, borne out of pent-up frustrations, are meant to dissuade ODM supporters who have peered through and peeled away the lies.
It is an insult to the former Prime Minister, who has
been valiantly fighting for a fair transparent election system.
One wonders why it has taken more than four years for Mr Kenyatta to come up with such frivolous allegations.
It is now apparent the former President is desperate to whip emotions on stolen vote to resuscitate the fledgling political fortunes of his projects.
It is baffling the former President has admitted he is inept and bereft of a strategy to accomplish any task including those he pledges to support.
The 2022 general election was most transparent and credible in the history of the Republic of Kenya as ventilated and determined by the Supreme Court.
What the former President has inadvertently admitted is that he conned former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on using a fictitious and non-existent system to tilt election in his favour.
The worst kept secret is now open that Uhuru did not put in the work, resources and apply his mind on helping Raila win.
It is not lost on us he rarely ever visited his backyard with Raila in tow, but deployed lightweights and political riff-raff to accompany him.
With Jubilee Party now defunct and on its deathbed, Uhuru now wants additional responsibilities, like being a candidate for 2027.
Claiming the 2022 election was rigged is claiming the Judiciary was an agent and the Kenyan people gullible.
The question that begs is: if a sitting head of state admits that an election was stolen while he held the levers of power and had access to infinite resources, how badly can he fare while out, washed up and whinging on the periphery in the vain attempt to prop up political non-starters?
It is utterly shameful for a former President who should be treated with reverence and accorded respect as a statesman, to continue to debase, bastardise and demonise institutions without a shred of evidence to salvage dwindling political careers.
By dabbling in politics and undermining the government of the day together with its institutions and patriotic Kenyans working with those agencies, the former President risks attracting the wrath of Kenyans who will keep reminding him of his misrule, mismanagement, grand larceny, extrajudicial executions and bad governance that characterised his chaotic second term tenure.
