Dubai has declared 10 days of official mourning following the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the younger brother of Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Flags will be flown at half-mast across the emirate throughout the mourning period. Sheikh Mohammed mourned his brother, praying for God’s mercy and for his place in paradise. Sheikh Ahmed died at the age of 76 earlier today.
