President William Ruto is set to attend the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York, where he will also engage Kenyans living in the United States. Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Korir Sing’Oei says the President will launch the Kenya Diaspora Impact Platform to strengthen links between the government and Kenyans abroad. The platform is expected to provide opportunities for diaspora investment and participation in Kenya’s development. Ruto will also seek support to appoint several Kenyans to select United Nations positions.
