Failure by the government to respect court orders may occur when those tasked with enforcing the orders are the ones violating them. Lawyer and Haki Africa Director Abubakar Yusuf says Parliament and the Senate can initiate impeachment proceedings against the President if interference with the judicial process reaches that level. He says, however, that impeachment should not be necessary if the Executive respects court orders.
