Kenyans believe the country should use the 2029 World Athletics Championships to test its capacity to host major global events. The championships will showcase Kenya’s athletics culture, giving athletes and visitors a first-hand experience of what makes the country a global athletics powerhouse, while providing an opportunity to sell Kenya to the world, create jobs, boost tourism and stimulate economic growth.
