Residents living in houses with cracks, bending walls or signs of caving in are advised to consider moving to safer structures ahead of the El Niño rains. City planning expert Absalom Ochieng says such signs could indicate a weak building, warning those living in swampy or flood-prone areas to take precautions, especially where foundations are weak.
