KUPPET says it is working on a program to push for the confirmation of teachers serving as acting principals after six months. Secretary General Akelo Misori says the move will depend on budgetary allocation, adding that teachers should have enough experience alongside the required qualifications before confirmation. He also urges confirmed principals still earning teachers’ salaries to write to the TSC for their issues to be addressed.
