Residents of Ruiru, Kiambu County, are set to benefit from a new 15-kilometre road linking five wards. The project, being implemented through the Kenya Urban Roads Authority, is expected to ease transport, reduce perennial dust and address flooding along the busy route. Area MP Simon King’ara said the road will connect Kahawa Wendani, Githurai, Mihoko and Mwikii wards, benefiting more than half a million residents.
