The government has established a Crisis Communication Coordination Committee to ensure timely dissemination of information on preparedness and provide the public with accurate and factual updates during the expected El Niño rains. The committee, chaired by Broadcasting Principal Secretary Stephen Isaboke, will also bring together relevant stakeholders to coordinate public messaging and ensure Kenyans receive consistent information during the rainy season.
