The IEBC has been urged to address all concerns raised by election stakeholders, whether factual or based on perception, to help restore public trust. Governance expert and political analyst Calvin Muga says dismissing the concerns could raise doubts about the commission’s ability to conduct a credible election. He wants IEBC to be transparent about all its processes, including tenders, and regularly brief the public on its activities.
