A section of nurses in Kisii County have dismissed claims that Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) leaders were attacked by goons during a demonstration over the ongoing strike. Speaking at Kisii Referral Hospital, Interim KNUN Secretary General Jerusha Nyamwange also rejected reports that the strike had paralysed public health facilities. She said nurses remained on duty, providing services as the union engages the county government over their grievances.
