The government has assured Kenyans that ongoing milk supply constraints are temporary and expected to ease as rains improve pasture and fodder availability. The Kenya Dairy Board said milk remains available despite reduced supplies in some regions, attributing the decline to dry and cold weather in key-producing areas. KDB Managing Director William Maritim said formal milk deliveries to processors fell by 3.7 per cent between June and July, dropping from 84 million litres to 81 million litres.
