Light to moderate rains are expected over the next seven days in several parts of the country. Franklin Komol Korir from the Meteorological Department says the rains will affect Nairobi, Nyeri, Nyandarua, Kiambu, Tharaka Nithi, Laikipia, Elgeyo Marakwet and Trans Nzoia. Similar rains are expected in Kwale, Kilifi, Lamu, Tana River, Mandera and Marsabit, with increased intensity forecast in parts of the Coast region.
