Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital says it has diverted two tonnes of used linen and staff uniforms from landfill through a textile recovery partnership, while also working on composting food and gardening waste. The hospital says better waste segregation, recycling and reuse can help facilities reduce disposal volumes while using resources more efficiently
