Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru’s son, Njuguna Waiguru, has wedded Joanne Rodriguez in a ceremony attended by President William Ruto.
Njuguna and Rodriguez exchanged vows as family and friends gathered to celebrate their union and mark the beginning of their life together.
President Ruto attended the wedding and congratulated the couple, wishing them a happy and lasting marriage.
In his message, Ruto urged the newlyweds to build a strong home and grow together through the different seasons of life.
“May you build a strong and happy home, grow together through every season of life, and find in each other enduring friendship, strength and companionship,” Ruto said.
The President also encouraged the couple to stand by each other, listen with patience and forgive generously as they navigate their life together.
“May your marriage be blessed with lasting love, abundant joy and many wonderful years together,” he said.
Njuguna is the son of Governor Waiguru, who has served as Kirinyaga governor since 2017.
