Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has praised President William Ruto’s directive to reduce the price of subsidized fertilizer from Sh2,500 to Sh2,000 per 50-kilogram bag and cut certified maize seed prices by half. Speaking to grassroots leaders in Embu, Kindiki said the measures demonstrate the government’s commitment to supporting farmers, reducing production costs, strengthening agriculture and promoting economic stability across the country.
