Kenya spends the majority of its budget revenue on paying debts rather than investing in hospitals and youth employment. According to AIDS Healthcare Foundation Country Director Samuel Kinyanjui, this system is draining away the country's future. Kinyanjui suggests establishment of an African borrowers club, which can be used by African economies to negotiate much fairer loan rates.
