The Interior Designers Association of Kenya, Association of Construction Managers of Kenya and Architects Alliance have rejected the Architectural and Quantity Surveying Practitioners Bill 2026, currently before Parliament. Addressing the media in Nairobi, officials from the three umbrella bodies said the professions are distinct and should not be placed under one regulatory body. They also criticised the Bill for being architecture and quantity surveying-focused while seeking to regulate other professionals, including construction project managers and technicians.
