Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen has pushed for the institutionalization of annual officer recruitment and training of security personnel to replace retiring offices. Speaking during the Officer Cadet Pass Out Parade at the Prisons Staff Training College in Ruiru, Murkomen noted that regular recruitment is necessary to manage natural attrition within the service.
