Flavours are helping some Kenyan smokers stay off cigarettes, with half of users surveyed saying flavours help them avoid smoking altogether. A Campaign for Safer Alternatives (CASA) survey also found that 43 per cent say flavours help them reduce the number of cigarettes they smoke, while only 14 per cent prefer tobacco flavour. CASA is warning that banning most flavours could undermine efforts to reduce cigarette smoking.
