President William Ruto on Saturday joined the ABC Women of Faith Congress held at Scott Christian University in Machakos County.

Ruto attended the morning service at the university, where he was received by religious leaders who had gathered for the annual faith-based event.

The President was accompanied by several political allies from the Ukambani region during the visit, as he joined worshippers for the service and proceedings of the congress.

The event brought together women of faith from different parts of the country for worship, fellowship and discussions centred on their role in society and the church.

The President was welcomed by several religious leaders upon arrival at the university before taking part in the morning service.
