The National Treasury has assured retirees and public servants that their pension funds and retirement benefits are safe, citing strict policies and system reforms to protect savings and ensure timely payouts. Appearing before the National Assembly Finance Committee, Treasury CS John Mbadi also defended the proposed National Infrastructure Fund, saying it will help finance major development projects and transform the country’s infrastructure.
