The Government Chemist Department has received its ISO standard Testing Laboratory Accreditation Certificate from the Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS). The Ministry of Interior said the accreditation strengthens scientific evidence used in criminal investigations, court proceedings, public health decisions and regulatory enforcement. PS Raymond Omollo said it confirms laboratory services meet internationally recognised standards for quality, impartiality and technical competence.
