World Vision Kenya has today joined the global community in marking World Humanitarian Day under the #ActForHumanity campaign. The organisation called for greater protection of humanitarian workers and civilians, accountability for attacks and respect for international laws protecting those serving crisis-affected communities. It warned that attacks or restrictions on humanitarian workers disrupt essential food assistance, healthcare and protection services, leaving vulnerable communities to bear the greatest burden.
