President William Ruto has held talks with four Catholic archbishops led by Philip Anyolo of Nairobi, Maurice Muhatia of Kisumu, Anthony Muheria of Nyeri and Dominic Kimengich of Mombasa. The meeting comes against the backdrop of criticism of the government by the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB), which has previously raised concerns over governance, corruption and other issues affecting the country.
