The Pubs, Entertainment and Restaurants Association of Kenya has warned that proposed restrictions on flavoured tobacco and nicotine products could boost the illicit market. Perak says banning flavours on cigarettes, vapes and nicotine pouches could hurt legitimate businesses and reduce government revenue. The association has called on the National Assembly's Health Committee to conduct nationwide public participation before the Bill is debated in the House.
