The Council of Governors has renewed concerns over conflict of interest and unauthorised dual practice among public-sector doctors who neglect their devolved duties to work in private facilities. Speaking at the Kenya Health Summit in Nairobi, CoG Chairperson Ahmed Abdullahi said it was unfair and unethical for doctors paid by taxpayers to abandon public hospitals during official hours for private practice, paralysing healthcare services.
