First Lady Rachel Ruto has challenged medical professionals and other stakeholders to strengthen the maternal healthcare system to reduce maternal mortality. Speaking during the ongoing Kenya Health Summit, she commended measures taken so far, including expanding maternal health coverage, equipping maternity facilities and increasing staffing to improve quality of care.
