Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema is leading the presidential election results, with 105 of 226 constituencies declared. The latest figures show Hichilema with 54.82 percent, or about 1.06 million votes, putting him on course to secure re-election. His main challenger, Brian Mundubile, is in second place with 43 percent, having garnered about 831,000 votes from the declared constituencies.
