Content creator Thee Pluto has sparked conversation after reacting to journalist Larry Madowo’s appearance at Charlene Ruto’s pre-wedding ceremony in Kilgoris, Narok County.
Madowo, who has often been vocal in his criticism of the Kenya Kwanza administration, was among the notable personalities at the event, where he appeared to have a cordial interaction with President William Ruto.
The journalist’s presence, and particularly his apparent closeness to the President during the celebrations, caught the attention of Thee Pluto, who admitted that Madowo was among the last people he expected to see at the high-profile event.

Reacting to clips from the ceremony, Thee Pluto questioned whether Madowo’s appearance could prompt people to reconsider their view of his public criticism of the government.
“Nimekaa tu chini nikajiuliza, what happened? Kwani Larry Madowo ni kigeugeu?” Thee Pluto remarked.
He went on to say that Madowo was “the least person” he expected to see at Charlene Ruto’s pre-wedding celebrations, given his reputation as one of the prominent voices frequently questioning government policies and decisions.
Thee Pluto also appeared amused by the contrast between Madowo’s public political commentary and his interactions at the private family celebration.
Madowo Gets Close to Ruto During the Celebrations
Photos and videos from the event showed Madowo among the guests as the Ruto family celebrated Charlene ahead of her wedding.
