Ohangla megastar Prince Indah has publicly paid tribute to his wife, Winnie Nyamigori, on Mashujaa Day, weeks after online rumours claimed the couple had separated.

The Osiepe hitmaker shared the message on Instagram on 20 October, alongside a photo of Winnie. He described her as his “true Shujaa”, drawing a link to the national holiday honoring Kenya’s heroes.

Speculation about the state of Prince Indah’s marriage had circulated online for weeks, with several bloggers claiming he and Winnie Nyamigori had separated.

The couple did not respond to the claims and stayed silent throughout.

That changed on Mashujaa Day, 20 October, when the Osiepe hitmaker posted a photo of Winnie on Instagram. She was dressed in a sparkling maroon velvet outfit and holding a red clutch. The accompanying tribute drew an emotional response from fans.

The Osiepe hitmaker called Winnie his “true Shujaa” after weeks of online rumours about their marriage.

Prince Indah used his Instagram post to speak directly about his wife, naming her as one of two people on his mind for Mashujaa Day.

“Today, as we celebrate Kenya’s heroes, my heart goes to two extraordinary people who embody strength, leadership, and resilience,” he wrote.

He then turned to Winnie, tagging her account, @winnienyamigori.

“Your zeal, humility, love and wisdom are the foundation of our home,” he said.

The singer also referred to the challenges she has faced and the way she has kept the family together.

“Watching everything you’ve overcome and how you keep our family standing strong and steadfast leaves no doubt in my mind you are my true Shujaa,” he wrote.

His post put the spotlight on his wife, and on the people who support their families away from public view.
