Approximately 8.8 million Zambians are heading to the ballot tomorrow to cast their votes in the presidential, parliamentary, and local government elections. With 14 presidential candidates validly nominated for the race, current President Hakainde Hichilema is seeking to secure a second term. Hichilema came to power in the 2021 election by defeating former President Edgar Lungu, marking an end to the Patriotic Front’s tenure in government.
