Correctional Services PS Salome Beacco has proposed the establishment of post-prison transition centres to guide and support former inmates as they reintegrate into society. The PS made the proposal during a meeting with a team from Justice Defenders led by Phillip Coulson. Beacco also proposed the creation of rehabilitation hubs incorporating businesses and other income-generating activities to provide sustainable livelihoods for reformed offenders.
