Parents have been urged to closely follow up on their children in colleges and universities after a 23-year-old student allegedly jumped from the fifth floor of an apartment in Makongeni Phase 6, Thika. She had reportedly visited her 50-year-old, married boyfriend. The student is also said to have attempted suicide two weeks earlier by drinking poison. Police are investigating the incident.
