Their appointments were announced in a poster shared by the party, which congratulated the two leaders on their new positions.
The poster also announced the appointment of former Member of Parliament Jamleck Kamau as the chairman.
The appointments come as the party, led by former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, positions itself ahead of the 2027 general election.
Ali welcomed his appointment and thanked the Wiper leader for the confidence placed in him.
“Deeply honoured to be appointed as Deputy Party Leader Designate, Wiper Patriotic Front Party under the esteemed leadership of one of Kenya’s renowned political giants, HE Kalonzo Musyoka,” Ali said.
He expressed gratitude to the party leader and its members for entrusting him with the new responsibility.
“A heartfelt thank you to our party leader and all members who have placed their trust in me,” he said.
Ali pledged to serve the party and the country with integrity as it pursues what he described as a more equitable and progressive Kenya.
“I commit to serve the party and our nation at large with great integrity and passion as we work towards a more equitable and progressive Kenya,” he added.
Njiru, who has been an outspoken voice on political and legal matters, also acknowledged his appointment and thanked Kalonzo for the confidence placed in him.
“Thank you for this distinguished honour, your excellency Dr Kalonzo Musyoka. I am deeply honoured by your confidence and humbled by the opportunity to serve you, the party, and our great nation, Kenya,” Njiru said.
The lawyer is expected to take up the role of party spokesperson, placing him at the centre of the party's public communication and messaging.
Ali's appointment as deputy party leader designate gives him a senior leadership role as the party continues to organise and expand its political structures.
The poster described the appointments as part of the party's leadership arrangements and congratulated the officials on their new responsibilities.
It also carried the message, “Together we shall komboa Kenya,” signalling the party's political mobilisation message ahead of the next general election.
Kalonzo has been active in positioning Wiper within the broader opposition political landscape as parties and political leaders prepare for the upcoming 2027 polls.
