Medical Services PS Dr. Ouma Oluga has urged the Safaricom Foundation and M-PESA Foundation to support long-term health projects aligned with Kenya's Universal Health Coverage agenda. Speaking in Nairobi, Oluga proposed integrated maternal and newborn centres, centres of excellence for non-communicable diseases and expanded digital health systems. He said stronger Government-private sector collaboration will help counties deliver sustainable, quality healthcare services and improve patient outcomes nationwide.
