President William Ruto will later today launch the National Ambulance Dispatch Centre at the Social Health Authority headquarters in Nairobi. The centre will operate through the SHA 922 Lifeline and serve as the country’s central hub for coordinating emergency medical services across all 47 counties. It will manage emergency calls, dispatch ambulances, conduct clinical triage, track ambulances in real time, and coordinate patient referrals to ensure faster and more efficient emergency care nationwide.
