Muslim clerics have praised the Kenya Kwanza administration for scrapping the more than 60-year-old vetting process for national ID applicants from the Muslim community and residents of Northern Kenya and border counties. Speaking at State House, the clerics also commended President William Ruto for supporting the construction of mosques, madrassas, and other religious facilities.
