The government says expanding TVET enrolment is key to tackling youth unemployment and driving Kenya's industrial growth. Speaking in Meru, TVET PS Esther Muoria said the country aims to have two million students in technical institutions by December. She said graduates are needed to fill growing demand for skilled workers, while affordable housing alone has already created more than 600,000 jobs requiring technical skills.
