The government has vowed to intensify its crackdown on criminal gangs allegedly being used for politically related activities ahead of the 2027 General Election. Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen said the operation is ongoing and has already recorded significant progress. He said security agencies will continue pursuing those involved and strengthen enforcement measures to ensure peace and stability as the country prepares for the elections.
